Since, our tours mainly take place in remote areas, quite far from settlements and we mainly focus on visiting the untouched nature, you should be prepared for weather changes and take the appropriate clothes and shoes. We do not have clothes and shoes for rent, and there are no stores available from well-known brands of sports equipment manufacturers, so please take everything with you. Weather and mosquitos

The weather in Tajikistan is mostly sunny during the season, in Fann Mountains, the climate is mild, in daytime the weather is quite warm and sometimes even hot - more than +35 degree by Celsius. Nights are cooler, about +15°C.  The weather in  Pamirs is changeable, in the altitude of 2000m to 3500m, the temperature rise from +20°C to + 35°C, at nights drops to +10. Above 3500m altitude, the temperature can drop at night to -10°C degrees below zero.

In Wakhan of Afghanistan, the climate is very dry and hot during the day, during the trekking over the passes above 4000m, sometimes it is even snowing. The lowest temperature is at night -15 degree by Celsius.

Mosquitoes and bugs mostly accumulated around the high alpine lakes and unfortunately, they are active all season long. If you want to spend night near the lakes, please, be accurate with putting your tents on a swampy lawn ground - these are the most favored places of mosquitoes. Any dangerous vectors of infection have not been observed among local mosquitoes.
