Rental Policies
Pamir Trips can offer a small selection of climbing, hiking and trekking gear/equipment available for rent.
If you have a limited space in your luggage or prefer to travel in easy way, not carrying heavy packs through airports, but still want to be prepared for active adventures, please visit our rental page. Our rental gear is from top of the line manufacturers and proven brands such as North Face, Grivel, Petlz, and Black Diamond Climbing Technology.
We kindly recommend you to contact us at least 3 days before your climb/hike/trek begins; the gear/equipment could be rented out. If you are travelling with Pamir Trips, there is no charge for your equipment.
Quantity Restriction:
Due to continued problems with late, damaged and missing equipment from group rentals, an individual renter is no longer able to rent for large groups or multiple parties. One individual renter will only be allowed to rent camping equipment for up to 4 people. (Ex: 2 two-person tents; 4 sleeping bags; 1 four-person tent, 4 sleeping bags, etc).
Equipment Rental policy
- The individual signing the Rental Agreement accepts responsibility for the equipment and any fees or charges that may incur.
- Rentals are responsible for damage, loss or deliberately broken equipment and in case of loss or damage of any parts of the gear, obliged to reimburse the full cost of the items specified in the Retail Replacement sheet of Equipment Rental List and Rates.
- Rentals will be charged on a per day/item fee. A small selection of equipment may be rented by the hour.
- A credit card deposit in the form of MasterCard, Visa is required for all rentals and rental reservations. No exceptions and no charges to student accounts. Sorry, no American Express.
- The credit card deposit will not be charged unless requested by the renter OR additional fees are incurred.
- Pamir Trips and Pamir Alpine Club make no representation, warranties, or covenants, expressed or implied with respect to the condition, quality, durability, or suitability of the rented equipment and assumes no liability for any bodily injury or damaged property resulting from the use, improper or otherwise, of the rented equipment.
Reservation
The reservation can be made by phone +(992)900041199 or +(992)931112533 or sending a message from contact us page at least 3 days an advance of pick up date. Without a reservation, rentals are on a first come, first serve basis and subject to availability.
Payment
- Payment is expected at time of pick-up and can be in the form of cash, check, MasterCard, Visa. The transaction to our bank account is possible only at least 3 hours an advance of pick up time.
- Individual picking up the rental will be responsible for paying the rental fees.
Returns
- Equipment is to be returned in a clean and operational condition.
- Items returned soiled, or excessively wet will be charged a Cleaning Fee (10% of the price).
- Items that are lost, stolen, or not returned will be charged at the item's full retail price.
- A minimum charge of $15 will be applied to each item returned damaged.
Cancellation policy
- For a full refund less a $10 per item fee, rental reservations must be cancelled 3 days before the pick-up date for non-holiday reservations. Example: If a reservation is scheduled for pick-up on Friday, the cancellation must occur on or before Tuesday.
- No refunds will be issued after the cancellation period.
- Cancellations are not accepted for reservations that include holiday periods.
